That "scrumptious" platter cost a whooping RM 10.30!
That's what i had for my Hari Raya lunch on October 3rd 2008. Astounded by the exorbitant price of my humble lunch , i questioned the cashier and was told that a single serving is RM 3.50 , thus mine which is a double cost double the price and with an additional chicken (RM 3.30) totals it up to RM 10.30. Certainly left me aghast as the very most i have ever paid for that same meal is about RM 5, never exceeding RM 7! Its just instant noodles for goodness sakes!
For those of you who are on the higher end of society would not understand what the big deal is about, but for a poor hungry fella like me, RM 10.30 for mere indomee is outrageous! Just think of it, a pack of 5 packets of indomee is only about RM 4, so by charging RM3.50 per single serving is insane! N0t to mention, had i known it was going to cost me that amount , i'd have ordered to McD instead. A set meal for a Big Mac is not more that RM 11, and definitely more fulfilling than that platter of the featured "golden noodles". And to add that a mere "mamak" stall has pricing almost equivalent to the higher end fast food chain??.. tisk tisk...
For all you mamak lovers out there, keep a look out and check the pricing first. By keeping quiet and succumbing to their antics, you are actually making them richer at your expense. I have made a complaint to the KPHDNHEP (The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs ) However , i have no idea if that complaint will ever see the light of day knowing how things are run in this country but we shall wait and see. Don't hold your breath though...

I was at Nasi kandar Kayu at SS2. A plate of Maggie goreng single with telur cost 5 bucks. Imagine that!
This Mamak Stalls/Restaurants are really taking advantages over the fuel prices and etc etc.
Even Karna curry house, lotus and rajus at pj. It is so fking expensive and with that price, we could eat at a nice chinese restaurant around pj or even fast foods. Fuk those restaurants............ All they know about is $$$$$$$$$ at their heads!
yea... all this mamak really a money sucker. Not to mentioned their service is horrible and they dont even know how to treat customer nice. they will show u their fucking face seem like we owe them money... At the same day when i fren buy this indo me for me. he was eating nasi with sotong and prawn that only cost him around 11 Buck. the pricing really suck.
